Who Is Andrew Bondar?

Only his grandparents called him by his first name, Andrew.
His friends call him Steve.

Steve is the creator of Culturation Marketing, which is the practice of launching low cost culture-building campaigns that transform your customer list into a raving fan base that buys more, reliably produces endless testimonials, and consistently refers new customers.

He is also the author of Organizational Theory & Practical Fundamentals which outlines the exact method of building a "Cultural Canon" in your business, the same way all the best brands, spokesmen, and institutions do it.

Reasons You Should Not Be Here

Hi, I’m Steve.

Just who is Andrew Bondar?  Well for the most part it's a really cool name for a website. Though over the years it's grown into a tight-knit team with very particular sets of skills.

I always love the “about me” page on websites like this because they’re written in the third person..
..even though they’re typically written by the owner of the site.

So after ‘ol Steve here made several attempts to sound smarter than he really is by writing about himself in the third person, he's quickly abandoning that approach and instead writing this page like it was a letter to a friend.

Which… in many ways, it is.

Anyway – what do you want to know?

I’m guessing that’s not the kind of stuff you’re looking for.

You’re probably wondering...

Is This Guy Worth My Time & Attention?

For many readers, my answer is NO.

I’m 37 years old. I live in western Pennsylvania, a couple hours north of Pittsburgh.

Random fun fact: I have a 3-legged cat named Ragnar.
(Yup, now you know.)

Here's why:

I can not help you get rich quick.

For some reason, there are people who people equate “start a business” to “get rich quick”.

I get it. That’s what attracted me to entrepreneurship in 2006 (more on that later).

I thought it would be easy money and I’d have sales coming in every day ...like the law of attraction (I was also young).

Well, it wasn’t easy money.

I do have consistent revenue coming in every day ..but not due to any “law of attraction” ..but instead coming from hard work, past frustration, and the expensive life lessons that got me there.

...And no matter what you read in “The 4 Hour Work Week”, it still takes quite a bit of work to keep it all running.

So if you’re not prepared to commit to roughly ten times more effort than you’re expecting to get off the ground, I’m not your guy.

If you don’t want to utilize technology, you’re not going to enjoy my stuff.

No, I don’t sell tech tools. But here’s why I’m telling you this.

Although I do rely on various tools, it's only those that are absolutely necessary to get the job done.

Try going down the “selling online” rabbit hole, and you’ll see all kinds of ads and articles about the new marketing app, or how to get rich by setting up a drop-shipping empire, and all kinds of hype on the “latest crypto” for “breaking out of the system.”

Does some of it work?

Probably. But only a select few of these things are worth your time.

Quite often what you’re left with is a buggy, knock-off app of a successful competitor’s tool, or at best an unsustainable gimmick.

And those are a waste of time. If you want to waste time, then go hiking or something.

You'll have more fun.

If you’re looking for “The Easy Way,” I don't want to help you.

It’s important that you understand precisely what I’m telling you.
I could help you, I just choose not to. I’m capable of it, but I refuse to.

Why?

Because when I hear someone say, “What’s the easiest way,” what I’m really hearing is, “I’m not fully invested in the long term interest of my business …and am therefore not fully invested in the long term interests of the people I serve, or even myself.”

And that really translates to “I don’t want to work.”

Look, growing sales and optimizing your business is HARD WORK. Yes, when it’s all up and running, it can be just like you imagined: Passive revenue and sales coming in while you sleep.

But that takes HARD WORK to create and still HARD WORK to maintain.

You’re Still Here? Good.

Here's what you can expect of me:

Actionable strategies and guides that you can use in your business right now, for free ...which are usually followed by:

The occasional sales pitch.

Can you believe I just told you flat out that you’re going to receive occasional sales pitches from me?
Well c’mon, why wouldn’t I tell you?

I mean allegedly---I’m a “startup guru." Or so I've been called. Which annoys me, because when I think of a guru I imagine a skinny guy in a diaper meditating his life away. That's not what I'm going for.

But what I am saying is that I craft marketing campaigns and put together deals for a living, so I will make offers to you, and I won’t be subtle about it.

However, it’s always preceded by really valuable strategies and actionable guides you can use immediately.

And that’s free.

The idea is you’ll say, “Man, this action guide is really great and helped me achieve X, Y, and Z. I think I’ll try out his offer.”

Pretty simple, right?

I call it the old “trying flavors with little sample spoons at the ice cream parlor” trick.

People want to get a taste first before buying a big ‘ol scoop of it.

Which is why my content is entirely focused on things you can do, actions you can take, and structures you can implement to achieve an outcome; which is getting more sales and even more enthusiastic customers.

But you still might be wondering …

How do I know if your stuff is any good?

Well, the smartest thing to do is to just get some of my free materials.

If you like them, you’ll probably like my trainings.

If you don’t like them, then you won’t. But anyway, I think I’m supposed to do the whole “self aggrandizing biography” thing now so here goes:

I started my journey in entrepreneurship in 2006 by selling t-shirts online.

At that time, I had a bare-bones website and would do internet searches using generic terms like "how to build an online business." Eventually I stumbled across a webinar that introduced me to direct response marketing, which got me thinking about how I could apply that to my e-commerce business..

The course offered was $2000.

I took notes on everything that they taught, and probably went back to read the sales letter on their site at least a dozen times.

But I wasn't in the position to act at that time, with my business barely turning a profit, and surviving as a sales trainer/recruiter as my day job.

However.. and to be frank.. a few months later I did get my hands on a bootleg of an older version of that course..

And being that it was a bootleg, it was incomplete, but fortunately there was enough there for me to take action on and begin to apply those strategies in both my day job and in my business.

And trying just a couple of the pointers actually got me results.

Did I make tons of money?

Yes and no. To be exact: eventually.

But at first I was excited just to see these small surges I would get in sales or leads.

I knew that what I was doing was having an effect.

And since the course was missing quite a few things, it left me wanting to know more.

I continued to listen to and read everything I could get my hands on, and one day came across a series of seminar recordings about how to sell high-ticket items.

One of the sessions was a workshop that ended in a pitch for a course. This time I bought the program, I watched it, and was blown away!

I went on to buy every book on direct response advertising and copywriting recommended in that course, and studied them aggressively. Then I bought more books and courses on marketing and studied those, too. I tested out every app that was available back then; every sales platform, every integration, every autoresponder and piece of marketing automation.

And after 7 years of trial and error, I could finally say that I'd achieved real success in business. I soon began working with e-commerce businesses and launching digital products. That led to the opportunity to teach to larger groups online, and eventually build training programs––which leveraged the number of people I could reach by 1,000-fold.

And to keep things short and simple, that's a glimpse of how I got my chops as a “startup guru.”

Kidding, of course. Guru is a loaded term. I'm no swami. But I do know things.

Fast forward many years later and I’ve worked with customers and clients in just about every country on earth. (Except Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe, for various reasons.)

I've implemented product launches, marketing campaigns, and helped structure teams for (literally) over 5,000 small businesses and counting.

Here’s what I will help you with, specifically

My main focus is helping you step up your marketing, so you can increase recurring sales, and acquire new customers who form deep bonds through culture building campaigns.

I’m the creator of something called Culturation Marketing, which is a fancy way of saying, “Highly-engaging, targeted marketing messaging designed to inspire something like a cult following around a brand, company, or personality.”

It is, in my opinion, the Holy Grail of not just marketing, but organizational theory. More about that another time..

I also focus on your positioning – which is really another way of saying, “Gaining credibility and authority with your audience so that they will scramble to buy from you and then refer all their friends.”

I do this by showing you how to build up a "Cultural Canon" around your business which breeds dedicated superfans who will gladly create free marketing for you, buy more often, and give your brand their undying loyalty.

The best way to do this is using a method of marketing spelled out in my book, Organizational Theory & Practical Fundamentals.

Here’s my first sales pitch to you:

Go to my home page and read some of the guides on my site.

If you like them, sign up for one of my free training sessions. Maybe try out some of my recommended tools.

If they help you, consider buying my stuff when I make you an offer.

Pretty simple, right?

Thanks for reading this page and get to work!
